Wat mij heeft geholpen om relatief onverschillig tegenover vrouwen te zijn is mijn inzicht in wat Nietzsche "das Ewig-Langweilige am Weibe" noemt ("het eeuwig saaie aan de vrouw", een toespeling op Goethes beroemde uitdrukking "das Ewig-Weibliche").
