"A supernova may briefly out-shine its entire host galaxy before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this brief period of time, the supernova radiates as much energy as the Sun would emit over about 10 billion years."

"The sight of man now makes us weary — what is nihilism today if it is not that? — We are weary of man."
[Nietzsche, Genealogie I, 12.]

My Heart is Empty.

"Your heart is black."
[Raphael, KillDevilHill.]

"She said, "Your eyes are always black." The pupil
opens to seize the object of vision."
[Jim Morrison, The Lords.]
The bold destruction of the earth is greater than anxious preservation of it.

Americans are said to have the largest ecological footprints of all men. And though many will agree that most or many Americans are pitiful creatures, this wastefulness is a collective greatness. Modern man may be small individually; as a collective he is great - including the terribleness intrinsic to all greatness.

Suprahumanism.

"Humanism is a broad category of ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appeal to universal human qualities—particularly rationality."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanism

[Nietzsche, De Griekse Staat, mijn vertaling.]
The state, whose only duty and right in a liberal society is to ensure that human relations, including business relations, are exempt of violence, is an essentially illiberal institution. True liberalism, which we may call "anarcho-liberalism", should abolish the state - and thereby lead to anarchism, i.e., a division of power based on might: for liberty and the state are mutually exclusive.
